Join us in person at Haus of Chaa in Centretown for a Write-In session featuring 20 minute sprints!

Meet us in the basement (stairs are at the back of the room).

We’ll be taking little breaks to chat about what we’re working on or workshop narrative tangles between each sprint. Bring a WIP or some ideas as well as your writing implement(s) of choice! Feel free to write, edit, or brainstorm. There is no pressure to produce anything during the 20 minute sprint sessions, we just ask that you keep to yourself and not talk to your fellow writers during those focus periods. We recommend bringing music or noise-cancelling earbuds/headphones if you think it would help you focus!

If you’re using a laptop, please try to come with it already charged as we won’t know ahead of time if we will have any power outlets available for our group to use.

Look for a little Writers of Ottawa sign at a table if it’s your first time joining us.
